Projected Windows

Projected windows operate by moving away, or “projecting,” from the face of the wall, as awning or hopper vents, as well as in-swinging or out-swinging casement vents. Projected windows are compression-sealed, easy to operate and often combined with complementary fixed windows.

Insert vents are used to provide fresh air, clean-ability, or roof access in fixed curtainwall or window wall systems. Project-in hoppers, project-out awnings, or casements are available.

Protective glazing systems improve resistance to impact from wind-borne debris in hurricanes, mitigate blast hazards, or provide a more secure environment for psychiatric facilities.
